These terms describe how salons and clients may use ChikPick. Final wording is being prepared; the summary below explains what each section will cover.
1. Using ChikPick
Who may create an account, what an account may be used for, and the basic rules of acceptable use for both salon teams and clients.
2. Bookings and cancellations
Appointments are agreements between a client and a salon. Each salon sets its own cancellation, deposit and no-show rules, shown before a booking is confirmed.
3. Payments, deposits and gift cards
How payments are processed, when deposits are taken and refunded, and the rule that anything a client pays for — gift cards, gift certificates and prepaid balances — never expires.
4. Reviews and Picks
Picks come from completed, verified visits. Clients own what they write, and only a client may choose to share a review elsewhere.
5. Listings and paid placement
How salon listings appear, and how paid placement is labeled as Sponsored wherever it is shown.
6. Ending your account
How a salon or client can close an account, what happens to data afterwards, and how we notify you of changes to these terms.
